MHRSD launches 'Service Certificate' for private sector workers

MHRSD launches 'Service Certificate' for private sector workers

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD) in Saudi Arabia has introduced the "Service Certificate" for private sector employees, accessible through the Qiwa platform.

This certificate serves as an official document, verifying an individual's work experience in private sector companies. It can be presented to other establishments for job opportunities or to competent authorities as proof of employment history.

The Service Certificate will be available electronically on the Qiwa platform at the end of an employee's contractual relationship. This initiative aims to streamline the process of verifying work experience, enhancing the ease and ability of workers to demonstrate their professional background.

The Qiwa platform is part of MHRSD's broader effort to improve the work environment and increase job stability in the Saudi labor market. It offers over 130 automated services for the business sector and is designed to provide all labor system services digitally. This approach focuses on protecting the rights of contractual parties, promoting labor market stability, and increasing its attractiveness in Saudi Arabia.
