Copy of SHAKESPEARE 1-1699376408642

'I miss my coffee at Shakespeare and Co.'

For Scottish expat Stuart Ramsay, Shakespeare and Co. has been part of his life ever since he moved to Dubai in 2014. But not anymore.

Shakespeare and Co., a beloved restaurant-cafe chain in the UAE with over 35 branches, has closed its doors, leaving patrons feeling nostalgic.

While an official statement about the closure is awaited, customers expressed their deep attachment to the cafe, known for its timeless Victorian decor, culinary delights, and excellent service.

Some hope the closure is temporary. Stuart Ramsay, a regular visitor, lamented the closure, as he often used the cafe as his workplace.

The closure has saddened many customers who cherished the ambiance, food, and familiarity of Shakespeare and Co. They are hopeful it will reopen in the future.
