DEWA’s Moro Hub partners Thales to ensure data protection and security

Moro Hub, the digital arm of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), has formed a partnership with Thales, a leader in advanced security and digital identity technologies.

This partnership, announced at the Dubai Airshow 2023, aims to strengthen digital infrastructures in the region, focusing on enhancing data protection and cybersecurity.

The collaboration was signed by Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD and CEO of DEWA, and Patrice Caine, Chairman and CEO of Thales. It aims to position Dubai as a global hub for advanced cybersecurity solutions.

Marwan Bin Haidar, Vice Chairman Group CEO of Digital DEWA, emphasized the partnership's focus on safeguarding digital assets and providing state-of-the-art security solutions.

Moro Hub will offer comprehensive cybersecurity services, including physical security platforms, IT/OT cyber consulting, data protection, and advanced threat monitoring systems for proactive security management.

Elias Merrawe, Vice-President of Thales in the Middle East, highlighted Thales' commitment to innovation in creating a safer digital world. The partnership is designed to meet the diverse security and cybersecurity needs of various organizations, aligning with regulatory requirements and confidentiality standards.
